The experience of sailing pushed by the wind and helming for the first time, of tasting the products of our land, of living a relaxing and engaging day…in total harmony with the sea. Steering is beautiful…. feeling the boat responding, accelerating when the wind pushes on the sail, keeping it on course in a two-way challenge between you and it…. And the best part is that it's for everyone. Anyone, even for the first time, can steer. This is what I did many years ago and now I have the pleasure of making my guests experience it. The captain is also a bit of a chef so during the day he will leave the helm to the deputy on duty to prepare some snacks and lunch. He is a real La Spezia and therefore he will tell you the stories of the Gulf of Poets that have been handed down for generations. A day on a sailing boat is a day immersed in nature, made up of sea, sun and wind. We'll take care of the rest. That day you will need almost nothing because you will be involved in a new and wonderful experience, you will savor the slow glide of the boat on the sea, and the sea breeze that softens the sun's rays. Put only what you need in a backpack: protective cream, flip flops, a book, an underwater camera (even disposable), sunglasses, a cap. If you have decided for the weekend, add a sweatshirt for the evening, a pair of long trousers, a clean shirt for the following day and a nice dress if you decide to go for a walk around town. If the backpack is too small, replace it with a soft bag (like Ikea). Do not bring the rigid trolley because there is no space to put it on the boat, you would risk sharing the berth with him Bath towels, sheets, blankets and pillows you will find them already on the boat. Don't bring a hair dryer or straightener, not only because outside the port we don't have 220 current (but 12V) but because you won't feel the need on the boat... Those days you will live in a dimension of freedom and naturalness that you may have forgotten. I'm waiting for you!

I had an excellent experience sailing with Daisy and Sandro. They were extremely flexible timing-wise and prepared a delicious gourmet seafood dinner for my parents and me + picked up a great Barolo per my request. I highly recommend sailing with them. (Note that based on wind conditions / time of day, you may be boating under engine power vs. sails -- standard practice I believe.)
